In the build-up to the NFL Draft starting on Thursday (Friday morning), I've compiled my annual list of pre-draft 'Top 30' visitors the Steelers brought in and where they rank per Dane Brugler's ultimate draft guide bible 'The Beast'. This year I've also highlighted which prospects were awarded red star and sleeper honours from the good folks of the UK Steelers Podcast.

As per the graphic the Steelers met with:
6 Wide Receivers
4 Quarterbacks
4 Cornerbacks
3 Offensive Tackles
3 Offensive Guards
3 Safeties
3 Inside Linebackers
2 Defensive Linemen
2 Tight Ends
If history is anything to go by, then the Steelers will most likely select players from this list. In each of the last three drafts under GM Omar Khan, the first two picks by the Steelers had a top 30 visit, with the most recent being DT Derrick Harmon and RB Kaleb Johnson.
Outside of these names, the Steelers have met with a number of prospects via the East-West Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl, formal interviews at the NFL Combine or meeting with them at their pro days. Here's the full list of prospects that tick those boxes:

Last year, the Steelers selected QB Will Howard and OLB Jack Sawyer of Ohio State after meeting with them at their pro day and taking them out to dinner.
What's clear this year is the sheer number of prospects the Steelers have met with in all settings, which isn't too surprising when you consider they have 12 draft picks to work with.
